blueberry buckle

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • Topping
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1/3 cup flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1/4 cup butter softened

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Blend together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, shortening, milk, and egg until smooth
  • Add blueberries and spread into greased pan or baking dish
  • Sprinkle topping over mixture
  • Bake for 55-60 minutes
